YazScore is a simple yet fun to use application to help keep score when playing a 5 dice game. This app does not actually play the game it transforms your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch into a score sheet.

The application support both single user mode, if every player has their own device, and multi user mode if all the players are sharing the same device.

Have the best of both worlds, continue to play the game with real dice, but don’t be bothered with a paper and pencil to keep score. Let your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch do the scoring for you.

Pros and cons of YazScore app for iPhone and iPad

YazScore app good for

Its great for anyone who loves yahtzee. Doesnt automatically insert the joker yahtzee rule for you. So if a person is a beginner to the game they would not know how to properly take the score only experienced players will know what to do. In any case I love this. Now I dont have to do the math for everyone anymore. Thanks.
Great app, it does everything I need for keeping score. PLEASE bring out more great apps for other games :-)

Some bad moments

Great concept, but many bugs. Will lock up frequently if the correct sequence is not entered, and the new game feature doesnt work, so every entry needs to be reset one by one. Would be 5 stars if fixed, gets 2 as is.
Why is this only a score sheet? Very miss leading if you ask me. Dont download.
The description is very clear. The app does exactly what it says and makes playing the game much more fun. I play Yahtzee much more now that I have the app then when I used a pencil and paper to keep score.
This is great if you play a lot at home. I dont have to continue buying replacement score sheets or running copies of score sheets. I like that you can have multiple players keep score on the same iPad device.
So I just d/ld this and it seems okay. To change from single player to multi-player, you need to first start a new game. Then it allows you to add players names and start scoring. Just tap for your name and (top level) tap how many ones or fives you rolled or keep tapping to mark it as a scratch. For the (lower level) you tap for the set score or enter the total of dice. You can look at the whole page in portrait view or half a page at a time in landscape view. I would like the gray background color to change to white, but its usable as is. There is a band of ads at the bottom. I would pay a dollar for a version without ads.
